About The Doctor
Dr Melody Libatique is from Vancouver, British Columbia. She was introduced to the chiropractic world while working as a chiropractic assistant during her undergraduate years. She was drawn to the holistic approach of healing and first hand witnessed how it eventually weaned people off from medications. She experienced patients limping into the clinic and leaving able to walk upright and pain free. Seeing the benefits of chiropractic care on people led her to pursue the career. She completed a Doctorate degree in Chiropractic from University of Western States College of Chiropractic in Portland, Oregon.
After completing her Doctorate, she moved to Washington State to begin her practice as a physician.
Since then she has been treating a wide range of patients and has been able to refine her skills and techniques, which allows her to treat a variety of conditions.
Dr. Libatique promotes and lives an active lifestyle. As a former competitive athlete in dance, she understands the importance of proper body mechanics and significance of movement on and off stage. She uses effective, hands-on chiropractic techniques to treat physical injuries, whether acute or chronic, involving the nervous, muscular, and skeletal systems.
She finds gratitude in helping underserved populations all throughout the world. She has had opportunities to serve patients in Haiti and the Dominican and plans to continue to do so in other countries. Her next project will be in the Philippines in the coming year.
Dr. Libatique strives to provide appropriate care and proper rehabilitation for every patient that enters the clinic. Her goals as a practitioner are to first help relieve pain and then focus on educating her patients on preventative measures to minimize or eliminate injury.
